Our History

Micro Sales was founded in 1961 by George Jacoby. We have serviced customers in this territory for over 50 years and some of our Principals for the same period. Our organization prides itself on our representation of 'best in class' manufacturers and long term relationships.

In 2001, we bought Technical Sales Associates (TSA), another Ohio Rep company founded in 1975. Then in 2006, Sam Newman, VP of sales for Micro Sales for 17 years and John O'Mara purchased the company. In late 2006, Joe Hanlin joined Micro Sales as a partner in the business.

The company is currently owned by the partnership of Sam Newman and Joe Hanlin.
